About Me

I help brands tell stories, but I’m terrible at telling people about myself. How much do I reveal? Do I start with an elevator pitch or a fun fact? Let’s start from the beginning since I cannot resist a little chronological account.   I grew up in California and India (literally spent 50% of my life in each place). Seeing the world through different lenses as I moved around and attended 10 schools as a kid, all helped me become a storyteller. I wrote fiction for years until I recently made the jump from an MFA at Columbia University to content creation and copywriting. Having developed and published content for my personal brand, and 22 other brands, I have generated over 3M impressions (and counting!). And directly generated revenue of over $700,000 through social content! This feels like the right moment to throw in some fun facts. I enjoy backpacking, styling items from my overstuffed wardrobe, lots of cooking, and I recently started gardening in a corner of my apartment (I’ve killed a few, but it’s all a part of the process). ​​Ooh, and I have two adorable dogs, Haavi and Shawna, who are the loves of my life (pictured below). ​You know those “Would you want to sit next to them on a plane?” interview questions?
