Acing Languages
Educational Platform
Acing Languages is a global service that connects language learners with a native tutor
I developed content to drive engagement among the brand's target audience: high school students in the IB/IGCSE curriculum in major cities across the globe. I wrote scripts for videos, and edited them.
I also designed the brand's social media calendar, and managed community engagement.
Creative Strategy

Design engaging posts and reels on Instagram, incorporating a fun, trend-focused tone to resonate with high school students

Conceptualize Instagram reel ideas and craft scripts and prompts tailored for tutors to easily film

Edit videos to align with trending themes of the online language learning community. Use phone cameras to film and CapCut to edit.
-
Have a balance of informative/educational content, as well as fun memes and trends to make the learning process enjoyable
-
Use GenZ language and humor
Challenges and Surprises

An Accent Challenge where 2 polyglots made jokes about their favorite cultural foods
From the ideation of the script to guiding our tutors to film it, and editing the video, it took 3 days to publish.
This post had a unique take on language learning, emphasizing on the accents of languages, while also keeping things fun. It is a perfect example of a "gentle educator" that informs, while being digestible and funny.

Title: A1 vs. B2 German
Concept: Show yourself doing daily activities depending on your space. Examples include cooking food, taking out the trash, cleaning your apartment, working.
Focus: Show and Tell in 2 ways- in basic language for A1 learners to grasp, and in an advanced manner for B2 learners to be educated.
Goal: Reach a range of beginner to advanced German learners
Reference Videos: I usually share 1-2 videos to show the tutor what the video would look like, with the references showing the modifications of what can be done in different spaces.
How to: Pick up your phone and film yourself doing activities throughout the day, speaking slowly in A1 German, followed by B2 German. Pause for 3 seconds before and after you say each segment to allow for editing changes to be done.
