  • Increase submissions from filmmakers by 30% for the 2023 season​

Creative Strategy:

  • Conduct red carpet interviews of previous winners of the festival, with a call to action of encouraging independent filmmakers to submit to the festival

  • Edit videos and promote them through organic marketing on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok​​

​

Results:

  • Increased submissions and revenue by 51%

  • Improved customer engagement by 150% through social media ads 


Note:
The Video Interviews were since taken down as the festival underwent a branding change in 2024 from featuring global media to focussing on films from Japan
